Seven hospitals are part of UR Medicine:
Strong Memorial Hospital offers the region's highest level of care. Strong offers many services that are not available anywhere else in the region, such as care for severe trauma, for end-state heart failure and for patients requiring transplants. Strong Memorial Hospital is the #1 hospital in the region according to US News & World Report.
Highland Hospital offers the exceptional care of UR Medicine in a smaller setting. Highland is well known for its orthopaedics services, women's services, nationally ranked geriatrics program, regional leading gastric bypass surgery center, extensive network of primary care physicians, medical/radiation oncology, cardiology, neurology, and much more.
Golisano Children's Hospital is the region's only children's hospital. Our doctors regularly care for the most challenging cases, such as children born with severe heart defects. We offer specialists who only treat children—such as pediatric surgeons and pediatric oncologists—and provide care to patients traveling here from throughout the Northeast.
Thompson Hospital brings the care of UR Medicine to Canandaigua and the Finger Lakes region. Many of our doctors practice at both Strong Memorial Hospital and Thompson Hospital. This affiliation helps make the very latest technology and treatments available to patients throughout the Finger Lakes.
Jones Memorial Hospital, located in beautiful southwestern New York State, is a 70-bed acute care facility serving all of Allegany County, as well as western Steuben County and northern Potter County, PA. For two consecutive years, The Joint Commission has recognized Jones Memorial as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for providing evidence-based interventions for pneumonia and surgical care.
Noyes Memorial Hospital is a 67-bed facility located in Dansville, NY. Here, a highly-trained team of physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals provide superb care for the surrounding community.
