Everyday we're making breast cancer surgery surgery more precise. We are are tailoring surgical options to the specific patient, so not every patient is getting the same surgery.

It comes into our surgical discussion when we talk about lymph nodes and how we treat lymph nodes in breast cancer care. Because ten years ago when a woman had node positive breast cancer, they were having all of their lymph nodes from under their arm removed. Now we make that decision on a case by case basis.
