If you’re scheduled for heart surgery at UR Medicine Cardiac Care, we have some helpful information about what to expect during your hospital stay-and your recovery afterward. You’ll also find rehabilitation instructions and exercises inside.
For some patients, a clinical trial can be an opportunity to receive the most advanced care available. Sometimes, a clinical research study may be the only way to receive a new treatment before it’s been approved for public use. Clinical trials are also a way to benefit others because those trials help medical professionals learn about the best treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
UR Medicine Cardiac Care is involved in more cardiology research than any other institution in our region, which means we can provide our patients with more opportunities to get involved.
